Neighbourhood Productions is a Townsville-based audio visual production company delivering full-service event production and technical services across North Queensland. Founded and operated by Sam and Nicole Wright, Neighbourhood Productions has been supporting festivals, touring productions, corporate events and community events across regional Queensland since 2016.
Sam and Nicole are a husband and wife team, both musicians and born and bred in North Queensland, with a deep connection to the local events and live music scene. Together, they have been working in live music, audio visual and event production for nearly two decades, bringing practical, hands-on experience from both sides of the stage.
We specialise in audio visual and technical production services for live events, providing audio, lighting, vision, staging, backline and power solutions for festivals, touring acts, corporate events and civic productions. Our work spans event design, system delivery and on-site operation, tailored to the scale and complexity of each project.
Our focus is on calm, dependable delivery. We work closely with promoters, producers and project managers to plan and execute well-run technical outcomes - from initial design and bump-in through show delivery and bump-out - ensuring each production is handled with experience, precision and consistency.
With touring-grade systems and an experienced crew, we’re trusted to operate in complex environments where timing, safety and communication matter. Whether supporting a regional festival, a touring concert or a large-scale corporate or civic event, our approach remains the same: clear planning, professional execution and dependable results.

Recent projects include large-scale event and festival production such as One Street One Day featuring Hilltop Hoods in Central Park, Townsville; Country Fest Queensland in Bloomsbury; New Year’s Eve featuring Meduza at The Ville Resort-Casino Lawns; North Australian Festival of Arts at Strand Park, Townsville; ANZAC Day services for Townsville City Council at Thuringowa; and regional touring productions including Northern Sound for QLD Music Trails and Queensland Music Festival.
